Masikio Ya Tembo

While elephants are clearly at the top of the wildlife sizing chart, they are also among the most majestic creatures on the planet. We were all spellbound, watching a herd of these giant animals lumber about within the expanse of their natural Serengeti environment. Their skin of gnarly layers of crumpled sandpaper is fascinating, but I am captivated with the efficient shape and character of their massive ears. Thus, the title “Masikio Ya Tembo”, Swahili for “Elephant Ears”.
