Autumn Green

The sound of a river is the sound of nature. There’s a lot of talk about the power of rivers to cut through stone and shape deep canyons – which is very true. But they also seem to hold some special power to captivate us, to quiet our minds and help us to stop and reflect on things that really matter. Standing at the bank of a river and just listening … is simply peaceful. Environments differ in our world, and some have the opposite effect on our minds and souls. Maybe it’s a good idea to spend more time in places like this, environments that bring peace to our souls.
